One of the first questions people ask about entering sweepstakes is "Where do you find them?" There are many web sites devoted to listing current sweepstakes. Unfortunately, not all are created equal. Here are the ones that I visit every day. Not only are there many sweepstakes listed at these sites, but the information is up-to-date and accurate (Speaking of accuracy, this page will be updated regularly, so check back often for additions and deletions).

The Winners Club lists sweepstakes by category - Daily, Weekly, etc., and they run their own sweepstakes at the site as well. It also has the best email newsletter I've seen; the first one I read every day - It's the best!

Easywinning: Lots of sweeps here in a very easy to enter format.

Winfreestuff: Lots of stuff to win here. Just click on the prize, opt to subscribe or not to a newsletter or emailings

NeedToWin is a very nice sweepstakes site with the sweepstakes listed by category. You click on the type of prize you "need to win" and are taken to sweepstakes offering that prize. Very user friendly.

About.com's Master List has all the latest sweeps, listed in descending order with quick closing and newest ones first.

Grandma Jam's A lot of Sweeps, A lot of Links, a Nice free Newsletter, and a little bit of everything else (freebies, coupons, rebating).

Kittymother is a long list of links for sweepstakes, bingo, lotto, contests and games and puts out a nice free newsletter, too.

Red Hot Sweeps has a good number of sweepstakes listed by the date they were added to the site, so you can check the newest without going over ones you've already entered and/or bookmarked.

Mailing Lists and Newsletters

WinOnTheWeb is the best online mailing list I've seen. Lots of good sweeps posted, minimal chit chat, enthusiastic response to win notices; low spam tolerance level. You sign up through egroups. For a lower number of daily email messages (WinOnTheWeb is a high volume mailing list), you might want to try SweepScene, also at egroups.

SweepSheet is the best snailmail newsletter I've seen. There's a helpful website for those of us lucky enough to be called subscribers.

Best Weekly/Best Monthly are excellent snailmail newsletters (also available downloadable at the web site)

Gator is a macro program that is a big help when you are entering a lot of online sweepstakes. It's a small program that resides next to your clock. When you get to a site that requires entering information, entering a password, Gator does it for you automatically. It remembers your name, address, phone number, password, etc., and all of this information is kept on YOUR hard drive. It is not transmitted anywhere except through your sweepstakes entries. It's a handy little program and it's great for online shopping too:

Webstakes has so many sweepstakes that you could spend all your time at that one site. There's also a fun lottery and scratch-off game to play, as well as other contests:

webMillion is one of my favorites sites. There are fun trivia games there for nice prizes; and a cyber version of hangman, called Hangmillion, also for very nice prizes; a fun lotto, scratch-off game, and other contests:
